rosnik Posted July 28, 2007 Report Share Posted July 28, 2007 Hi, I get started two weeks ago to get same moods to my two years hold DRSD replica. On the first I get the holes for Gen spingbars. To do it and to be sure to get same 1.4mm perpendicular holes, I build one wooden support to hold the SUB on the correct position and to void same tropic failure. Than I reduced the case shape near the springbars area. this because it was 26,62 mm and this void to 'see' the GEN sprinbars on the holes. So I get one measure from one GEN sub and reduced to 25,60 mm . Than I polished all the case. Here you can see the final result , the bars are just were they have to be. Next steeps are: 1- To replace the crystal with one with the correct DOME shape. I enlarged the crown area to the correct 8.0 mm , I remodeled the two CG to the correct shape and than I brushed and polished all, case, bezel and case back too.
