rolli Posted March 24, 2008 Author Report Share Posted March 24, 2008 the surface treatment is very important before it gets the pvd coating. two steps with bead blasting, first with mixed high end granulate blasting and the second step, mixed glass / ceramic bead blasting. made from a goldsmith in the pvd company. she knows very exactly which parts on the surface have to get the blasting and which not. then ample cleaning and not forgetting, they have manufactured for me the holder system for our watch parts for the pvd machine cell ( chamber ). in other pvd companies for tools and industry products they have no experiences with watch parts. in our local pvd company they have a special watch department and many experiences with watch and jewellery pvd coatings with high quality. rolli Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
