Hey All, i cracked the back off my new Monty and using a few tutorials here i managed to get the stem out ... now the weird thing, this stem does not appear to be actually broken, but it has a small snap ring on the crown end and a very small plastic 'ring' and a spring .... I'm pretty confidnt that thats all that came out when it "popped" off .... So, how to reassemble ? I know Jay could fix it, but thats another month of waiting on the post and emails ..... Help ?? G'day all from Oz .... Just saying my hellos and letting you know that I'm gonna be asking some reasonably stupid questions for a while .... I've jsut recieved my first Reps from Jay at Silix, and I'm pretty chuffed so far ... (Thats happy ...) I bought a Monty Datora, and as part of Jays december special i also grabbed two cheap-ass reps .... a 'mystery' PAM and a 6.75 Bentley ! the Monty has had an issue out of the box and its probably going back to Jay, but the PAM has recieved the most wrist time so far ! anyway, here's a pic of the PAM see if you can see how many ways this is a 'mystery' ! (Apologies for the crap pic, the camera is on the fritz and i really coundnt be bothered getting out the DSLR .... Cheers all J
